At Google Cloud Next on 22 April 2026 he announced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform to build, scale, govern and optimise agents, which Forrester framed as the end of the AI pilot era.

At Next ’26, held in Las Vegas from 22 to 24 April 2026, he announced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, an Agent Marketplace for partner agents and expanded sovereign cloud options, including Gemini 3 in air-gapped and connected environments. Wiz now anchors Google Cloud’s security business.
His stated aim is to give every organisation an agentic enterprise: context from the organisation’s data, with automation driven by agents, run with security and governance built in. He called the Gemini Enterprise platform mission control for the agentic enterprise.
He told the audience that the last year brought transformation and not only adoption, and on the same stage Sundar Pichai framed the new question as how to manage thousands of agents. The Agent Marketplace lets partners’ agents run inside a customer’s environment, which widens the number of parties whose agents a customer has to govern.
Against the journey, Kurian is Building. The Cloud Economy’s micro-containers, service levels and compliance certification, were written for infrastructure, and the Data Economy’s access control and regional data residency regimes are the existing boundary around an organisation’s data. Agents add a new kind of actor to that boundary, and sovereign cloud with air-gapped Gemini is the residency instrument extended to models. His work helps introduce agent governance for the Technology, Operations and Legal and Compliance functions.
