Judgment Potential Evaluation

Which economic regime are you actually operating in?

The Judgment Potential Evaluation places you, or your organisation, inside the economic regime that best describes how judgment currently moves through your work. Not how you describe it. How it actually moves.

Most organisations and professionals believe they are already inside the Judgment Economy. Most are still inside the Information Era regimes it would replace. The evaluation tells you which, and what to do about it.

— Take the Evaluation

Two tracks. Six questions. One placement.

The evaluation runs in two tracks. Pick the one that fits who is answering. Both produce a placement that names the regime you are actually operating in, and routes you to the brief written for that situation.

— What It Tests

Two regimes. Six economies in one, one proposed in the other.

The Information Era has produced six named economies so far. Each one has a container. The Judgment Economy would be the seventh, and it is the container this project proposes to build. Every organisation and every professional currently operates inside one or the other. The evaluation tells you which.

The Old Regimes

Inside the Containerised Information Era

Six regimes within the Information Era already have containers. Each one still works, and each one carries a cost for judgment that wants to move through it.

  • Desktop Economy. Personal computing trust. Software runs on your machine, at a price you can own, but files and formats still determine what travels.
  • Cloud Economy. Compute sits on someone else’s infrastructure. Portable only within their pricing and their terms.
  • Data Economy. Signal is aggregated and sold, but the producer cannot see what is being sold or to whom.
  • Creator Economy. Voice is trusted because the platform vouches for it, not because the work is independently referenceable.
  • Platform Economy. Reputation is priced by the platform, and does not travel past its boundary.
  • Attention Economy. Engagement is the currency. Verification of who actually attended remains partial.
The Proposed Regime

Inside the Judgment Economy

The Judgment Economy does not yet exist as a settled fact. It is a proposal, and it is what the evaluation tests readiness for. It is delivered through six parameters.

  • Classification. Judgment is placed in a category that others can look up, not guess at.
  • Provenance. Every piece of judgment carries a lineage that both sides can verify.
  • Evidence. The reasoning behind an output is part of the output, not implied by the author.
  • Context. Every placement carries what it applies to, and what it does not.
  • Accountability. A named party is answerable for acting on the judgment.
  • Recourse. There is a defined mechanism if the judgment turns out to be wrong.

The evaluation does not ask what regime you believe you are operating in. It asks six observable-signal questions. The placement that comes back is the regime your work is actually running inside, based on evidence, not intention.

— The Four Placements

Four placements. Four briefs. One decision.

The evaluation returns one of four placements. Each corresponds to a specific regime, a specific readiness, and a specific document written for that situation.

If your placement does not match any of the four, or if the situation is more complex than a single placement can capture, the direct channel is greendevex.com/contacts/.

— Where It Sits

Trust Port 1 in the wider container.

The Judgment Potential Evaluation is Trust Port 1 of the three Trust Ports. It is the value layer: the instrument that establishes which regime a reader is operating in, and what the next move is. The other two Trust Ports do different work, and the container only becomes real when all three are in place.

A Note on the Two Instruments

The Judgment Potential Evaluation and ContextOS are not the same tool.

The Judgment Potential Evaluation, on this page, places a reader, or an organisation, inside the economic regime their work is actually running inside. The ContextOS demo at greendevex.com/os/app/ is a different instrument: it maps organisational friction inside a single organisation, using the classification architecture. Both sit on Trust Port 1. Neither replaces the other. If you arrived here expecting the ContextOS friction diagnostic, the demo is at greendevex.com/os/app/.
